A new constant in his vocabulary and he&#8217;s not even a teenager yet.\u00a0\u00a0With\u00a0swimsuit season approaching and the mounting desire to get back in shape,\u00a0I realize that french toast, sausage and eggs are way too tempting to be cooking him for breakfast.\u00a0 Thank goodness he LOVES cheerios!<\/p>\n<p>With the realization that\u00a0there is no\u00a0milk in the house, I grab my keys and take off for the store.\u00a0 It&#8217;s raining out and as I hop in the car I realize my ankles are cold and wet.\u00a0 The sudden\u00a0understanding that I&#8217;m in my strawberry fields cropped pajama bottoms makes me\u00a0ponder I need to be more self aware of time and place,\u00a0style and fashion, and\u00a0how I&#8217;ll never be\u00a0Audrey Hepburn\u00a0with grace and style oozing out of\u00a0my character.\u00a0Comfort is comfort folks and there is no turning back.\u00a0 I rush into the store, grab the milk and dodge all customers and employees stalking the shelves.\u00a0 Of course with my luck it happens to be the pastry aisle I choose to scurry down until\u00a0I get a marvelous idea.\u00a0 How great of a mother would I be if I bring my son home a luscious something stacked with carbs and sugar?\u00a0 Apple turners or cream cheese filled danishes! We don&#8217;tt have these very often\u00a0so it&#8217;s no big deal.\u00a0 Of course they are cheaper\u00a0wrapped in\u00a0four packs&#8230;&#8230;and my dad would appreciate\u00a0this act of\u00a0morning kindness\u00a0too&#8230;.and did I mention they are cheaper in eight packs?<\/p>\n<p>Do I need to tell you the rest of the story or can you piece together the\u00a0diet\u00a0dilemma I just experienced?\u00a0 My motivational Monday might start on Tuesday this week.\u00a0 But since my record is already tainted&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.I might just wait another week.\u00a0 A tragic beginning to the same old story.\u00a0 Spring is coming and I need to be reminded before these types of events occur.<\/p>\n<p class=\"separator\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s 6:42 am and my little boy comes to find\u00a0and tell me that&#8217;s he&#8217;s hungry.
